Title : Situated mixedness: understanding intimate diversity in contemporary Belgium: Understanding Intimate Diversity in Contemporary Belgium

In recent years, Belgium has been witnessing the rising phenomenon of conjugal mixedness notably involving Belgian citizens and individuals from
countries outside of the European Union. To fully understand this phenomenon, the present workshop situates it within the wider social processes and multi-level contexts. It features several case studies on conjugal mixedness, and some of them present empirical findings from an ongoing study on Belgian-Asian couples.
