On August 19, 2016, Ms. Catherine Bourgeois successfully defended her thesis entitled "Au-delà des collines Ethnographie des relations dominico-haïtiennes en zone frontalière" as part of getting the academic position of Doctor in Social and Political Sciences under the direction of Mr. Pierre Petit. The jury being composed by Ladies and Gentlemen the Professors Marc Lenaerts (ULB), Denis Regnier (ULB), Anne-Marie Losonczy (EPHE) et Odile Hoffmann (Institut de recherche pour le Développement)
